Tim Norris began his banking career in 1987 with Society Bank in Cincinnati and, later, Dayton, Ohio, before returning to Columbus to manage a regional equipment leasing office for Bank One.
In 1994, he moved into commercial lending with Provident Bank (and later Unizan Bank), eventually managing a commercial loan portfolio of over $60 million. He joined Prospect Bank in 2004, working with Columbus First founders Rhett Huddle and John Smiley, which was sold to Sky Bank in December 2004.
In January 2006, Tim went to work at UPS Capital, specializing in business acquisition finance, until moving to Columbus First in March 2008, where, he is primarily responsible for the lending and depository needs of the bank's business clients, as well as a shareholder.
He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1987 with a B.A. in communications and psychology, and was a member of the Ohio Army National Guard. Tim currently serves as loan committee member for Community Capital Development Corp., a rotary member, and committee member for U.S. Sportsman's Alliance. He and his wife Jen have two children.
